I am a PhD student in the Center for Astrophysics at UniSQ. I am interested in identifying new exoplanets and researching the formation, evolution, and demographics of planets and stars. I apply nascent computational techniques to make new discoveries and uncover new information buried in space-telescope data. I will use missions like NASA’s TESS (Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite) and Kepler to understand whether our Solar System is unique or one of many, and to explore the diversity of planet and star systems in our galaxy.
- Using Machine Learning to identify planet candidates from false positives in NASA’s TESS
- Discovering and characterising new stellar systems with asteroseismology in TESS
- Using Nested Sampling to quantify confidence in planetary detections
- Exoplanet Detection and Characterisation
