Adjunct Professor

My research work focuses on how the nature of atoms and their environment is encoded in the light they emit, absorb, or scatter, and the information about the light source and the intervening matter that is extracted when those photons reach us.

NASA Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite (TESS) ground-based followup; stellar atmosphere and transit light curve modelling; laboratory astrophysics of neutral atomic collisions; applied optical physics of time-domain and spectral signal analysis.

  • Astrophysics of Stars and Sub-Stellar Objects
  • Time Domain Optical Science
  • Atomic Spectroscopy
